With a stump grinder, also known as a tree stump grinder or rootstock grinder, you can save yourself the hassle of digging up tree stumps and rootstocks from lawns, gardens or building land. With their vertically rotating cutter blade, the machines quickly and effortlessly remove tree stumps and roots - both above and up to half a metre below the ground. The rootstock is milled off layer by layer using horizontal swivelling movements and mechanically chopped into small chips.
